TYPO3 CMS - Privilege Escalation & SQL Injection in Form Framework
Backend users with write access to the form_definition database table were able to directly create, update, or delete form definition records via DataHandler, bypassing the Form Framework's persistence validation and permission checks. This allowed injecting arbitrary form configurations, re-enabling attack vectors originally addressed in TYPO3-CORE-SA-2018-003, including SQL injection and privilege escalation. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 14.0.0-14.3.2.
TYPO3's cache frontend (VariableFrontend) and persistent key-value store (Registry) deserialized PHP payloads without integrity validation or class restrictions. An attacker with write access to the underlying storage backend (cache store or sys_registry database table) could inject a crafted serialized payload to trigger PHP Object Injection, potentially exploiting a gadget chain to achieve Remote Code Execution or other high-impact effects. Exploiting this vulnerability requires direct local write access to the storage, such as the SQL database or file system. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4
TYPO3 CMS - Broken Access Control in File Abstraction Layer
The path allowance check in GeneralUtility::isAllowedAbsPath() performed a plain string prefix comparison without requiring a directory separator boundary, causing a path like /var/www/html-other/secret.yaml to be incorrectly accepted as valid when the project root was /var/www/html. Administrator users with access to the File Abstraction Layer were able to create new file storage definitions pointing to directories outside the project root, bypassing this path check. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4.45, 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
Authenticated backend users were able to retrieve file metadata via several Backend API routes without proper permission checks, allowing access to files outside their permitted file mounts or storages. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4.45, 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
Backend users were able to insert arbitrary records and files into the TYPO3 clipboard without proper read permission checks, which allowed users to gather information about records and files they were not authorized to view. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 10.4.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
Backend users were able to move records to a different page without having edit permissions on the source page. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
Backend users with access to the Recycler module were able to restore soft-deleted records on pages or for tables they were not authorized to modify. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4.45, 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
TYPO3 CMS - Cross-Site Scripting in Indexed Search
Editors with access to create or modify page content were able to include HTML markup in page titles that were stored in the search index without sanitization. When displayed in frontend search results via the Indexed Search plugin, these titles were rendered without proper output encoding, resulting in a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
Applications that use GeneralUtility::sanitizeLocalUrl to allow only local URLs are vulnerable to open redirect attacks if the URL is used after it has passed the aforementioned sanitization checks. This enables attackers to redirect users to external content and carry out phishing attacks. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4.45, 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
TYPO3 CMS - Broken Access Control in Form Framework
Backend users with file write permissions were able to upload form definition files with mixed-case extensions (e.g., .FORM.YAML) to bypass the Form Framework's upload restriction. Maliciously crafted form definition files can be used to execute arbitrary SQL statements, allowing attackers to escalate privileges by creating administrative backend user accounts. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0-11.5.50, 12.0.0-12.4.45, 13.0.0-13.4.30 and 14.0.0-14.3.2.
TYPO3 CMS - Destructive Actions on File Mount Folders
Non-privileged backend users with file mount access were able to perform write operations (move, delete, rename) on folders representing the root of an active file mount due to missing authorization restrictions. This issue affects TYPO3 CMS versions before 10.4.57, 11.0.0 through 11.5.50, 12.0.0 through 12.4.45, 13.0.0 through 13.4.30, and 14.0.0 through 14.3.2.
TYPO3 CMS - Broken Access Control in Form Framework
Backend users with access to the Form Framework were able to use files not ending in .form.yaml as form definitions, which were processed without denying the incorrect file extension.
Namespace attributes are not encoded correctly during HTML serialization. This allows bypassing the cross-site scripting prevention mechanism of typo3/html-sanitizer before version 2.3.2.
When ALLOW_INSECURE_RAW_TEXT is enabled, whitespace-variant closing tags (e.g., </style\t>) are not recognized by the sanitizer but accepted by browsers as valid end tags, allowing subsequent content to escape sanitization. This allows bypassing the cross-site scripting prevention mechanism of typo3/html-sanitizer before version 2.3.2.
YesWiki has Unsafe eval() in Formula Calculator - Remote Code Execution (RCE) & Denial of Service (DoS)
YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, an unsafe execution vulnerability exists in the Bazar form field calculator (CalcField.php) of YesWiki. The application attempts to sanitize user-defined mathematical formulas using a complex recursive regular expression before passing them to the PHP eval() function. This implementation is inherently flawed: it is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS / Stack Overflow) which can crash the server, and it creates a high-risk architecture where any logic bypass directly results in arbitrary PHP code execution. Version 4.6.6 patches the issue.
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. A vulnerability in versions prior to 8.6.0 allows a non-admin user holding only the granular `users.edit` permission to lock every admin out of the instance by editing the `activated` flag (which determines whether or not a user can login) and the `ldap_import` flag, which determines whether or not the user can request a password reset. Version 8.6.0 contains a patch.
phpMyFAQ has Weak Cryptography - SHA1 for Password Hashing
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. Prior to version 4.1.4, attachment passwords are hashed using SHA-1, a cryptographically broken algorithm. SHA-1 has been vulnerable to collision attacks since 2017 (SHAttered). Version 4.1.4 fixes the issue.

CoreShop Vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) via Insecure `pull_request_target` Configuration
CoreShop is a Pimcore enhanced eCommerce solution. In versions 5.0.1 through 5.1.0-beta.1,, the GitHub Actions workflow (`.github/workflows/static.yml`) uses the `pull_request_target` trigger but dangerously checks out the unverified code from the pull request head (`ref: ${{ github.event.pull_request.head.ref }}`). Subsequently, it executes a script (`bin/console`) from this untrusted checkout. This allows any external attacker to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the GitHub Actions runner simply by submitting a malicious Pull Request. Also known as a "Pwn Request" vulnerability. As of time of publication, `pull_request_target` is still
Froxlor is open source server administration software. In version 2.3.6 and earlier, the LOC record regex uses `\s+` which matches newlines (allowing embedded newlines to pass), TLSA `matchingType=0` has no upper bound on hex data length, and all validators return raw input without zone-file escaping. Version 2.3.7 contains an updated patch.
Froxlor has privilege escalation in SSH key synchronization via symlinked `authorized_keys` path
Froxlor is open source server administration software. Version 2.3.6 contains a symlink-following flaw in the root-owned SSH key synchronization path used for customer FTP users. The provisioning code appends public keys to `~/.ssh/authorized_keys` under a customer-controlled home directory without verifying that the target path is not a symbolic link. If an attacker controls a shell-enabled customer account and can modify files inside the assigned home directory, the attacker can replace `~/.ssh/authorized_keys` with a symlink to `/root/.ssh/authorized_keys`. When Froxlor's privileged cron task later synchronizes SSH keys, it appends the att
