In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: icmp: fix NULL pointer dereference in icmp_tag_validation() icmp_tag_validation() unconditionally dereferences the result of rcu_dereference(inet_protos[proto]) without checking for NULL. The inet_protos[] array is sparse -- only about 15 of 256 protocol numbers have registered handlers. When ip_no_pmtu_disc is set to 3 (hardened PMTU mode) and the kernel receives an ICMP Fragmentation Needed error with a quoted inner IP header containing an unregistered protocol number, the NULL dereference causes a kernel panic in softirq context. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: release flowtable after rcu grace period on error Call synchronize_rcu() after unregistering the hooks from error path, since a hook that already refers to this flowtable can be already registered, exposing this flowtable to packet path and nfnetlink_hook control plane. This error path is rare, it should only happen by reaching the maximum number hooks or by failing to set up to hardware offload, just call synchronize_rcu(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: xt_CT: drop pending enqueued packets on template removal Templates refer to objects that can go away while packets are sitting in nfqueue refer to: - helper, this can be an issue on module removal. - timeout policy, nfnetlink_cttimeout might remove it. The use of templates with zone and event cache filter are safe, since this just copies values. Flush these enqueued packets in case the template rule gets removed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: Fix memory leak in ice_set_ringparam() In ice_set_ringparam, tx_rings and xdp_rings are allocated before rx_rings. If the allocation of rx_rings fails, the code jumps to the done label leaking both tx_rings and xdp_rings. Furthermore, if the setup of an individual Rx ring fails during the loop, the code jumps to the free_tx label which releases tx_rings but leaks xdp_rings. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Squashfs: check metadata block offset is within range Syzkaller reports a "general protection fault in squashfs_copy_data" This is ultimately caused by a corrupted index look-up table, which produces a negative metadata block offset. This is subsequently passed to squashfs_copy_data (via squashfs_read_metadata) where the negative offset causes an out of bounds access. The fix is to check that the offset is within range in squashfs_read_metadata. This will trap this and other cases.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: Add HID_CLAIMED_INPUT guards in raw_event callbacks missing them In commit 2ff5baa9b527 ("HID: appleir: Fix potential NULL dereference at raw event handle"), we handle the fact that raw event callbacks can happen even for a HID device that has not been "claimed" causing a crash if a broken device were attempted to be connected to the system. Fix up the remaining in-tree HID drivers that forgot to add this same check to resolve the same issue.

Then, if neigh_suppress is enabled and an ICMPv6 Neighbor Discovery packet reaches the bridge, br_do_suppress_nd() will dereference ipv6_stub->nd_tbl which is NULL, passing it to neigh_lookup(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: rawsock: cancel tx_work before socket teardown In rawsock_release(), cancel any pending tx_work and purge the write queue before orphaning the socket. rawsock_tx_work runs on the system workqueue and calls nfc_data_exchange which dereferences the NCI device. Without synchronization, tx_work can race with socket and device teardown when a process is killed (e.g. by SIGKILL), leading to use-after-free or leaked references. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: radiotap: reject radiotap with unknown bits The radiotap parser is currently only used with the radiotap namespace (not with vendor namespaces), but if the undefined field 18 is used, the alignment/size is unknown as well. In this case, iterator->_next_ns_data isn't initialized (it's only set for skipping vendor namespaces), and syzbot points out that we later compare against this uninitialized value. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: dwc: ep: Flush MSI-X write before unmapping its ATU entry Endpoint drivers use dw_pcie_ep_raise_msix_irq() to raise an MSI-X interrupt to the host using a writel(), which generates a PCI posted write transaction. There's no completion for posted writes, so the writel() may return before the PCI write completes. dw_pcie_ep_raise_msix_irq() also unmaps the outbound ATU entry used for the PCI write, so the write races with the unmap. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: mcp251x: fix deadlock in error path of mcp251x_open The mcp251x_open() function call free_irq() in its error path with the mpc_lock mutex held. But if an interrupt already occurred the interrupt handler will be waiting for the mpc_lock and free_irq() will deadlock waiting for the handler to finish. This issue is similar to the one fixed in commit 7dd9c26bd6cf ("can: mcp251x: fix deadlock if an interrupt occurs during mcp251x_open") but for the error path. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/efi: defer freeing of boot services memory efi_free_boot_services() frees memory occupied by EFI_BOOT_SERVICES_CODE and EFI_BOOT_SERVICES_DATA using memblock_free_late(). There are two issue with that: memblock_free_late() should be used for memory allocated with memblock_alloc() while the memory reserved with memblock_reserve() should be freed with free_reserved_area().
