Angular: Denial of Service via Numeric URL Matrix Parameters in Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.32, 21.2.24, and 22.2.0, the @angular/router URL parser stores numeric matrix parameter names and numeric outlet names as properties on initially empty JavaScript objects during Node.js server-side rendering. V8 can interpret these URL-derived keys as array indices and allocate dense backing stores sized to high numeric values, so repeated small path segments cause disproportionate per-segment heap consumption. An unauthenticated attacker can send overlapping requests containing repeated numeric mat
Angular SSR: Denial of Service (DoS) via Infinite Loop on Malformed DOCTYPE
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.31, 21.2.23, and 22.1.6, the @angular/platform-server DOM emulation parser can enter an infinite synchronous loop when Angular server-side rendering processes attacker-controlled HTML containing an incomplete DOCTYPE that ends with whitespace at end of input. In Domino lib/HTMLParser.js, after_doctype_name_state emits doctype and EOF tokens without advancing nextchar or leaving the fixed-lookahead state, so the scanner repeatedly handles the same EOF marker. A remote unauthenticated attacker can use
Socket.IO: Engine.IO Protocol Revision Mismatch DoS
Socket.IO enables bidirectional and low-latency communication for every platform. From Engine.IO 6.6.0 until 6.6.10, a transport upgrade can independently derive an Engine.IO protocol revision from the upgrade request instead of enforcing the revision stored on the existing session. A malicious client can establish a valid session and send an upgrade request with a different or omitted EIO query parameter, attaching a transport with incompatible parser and heartbeat behavior. A crafted heartbeat packet can then trigger an uncaught exception and terminate the Node.js process, including when Engine.IO v3 compatibility is disabled because an omi
Claude Code: Plugin Hash Pin Bypass Allows Bypass of Hash Pinning
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. Prior to 2.1.179, the Claude Code and Claude Desktop plugin installation flow runs git checkout for a marketplace-pinned commit without verifying that the resulting HEAD equals the pinned 40-character SHA. An attacker who controls a plugin repository on a Git host that permits SHA-shaped branch names can create a branch named after the reviewed commit, causing checkout to select the branch tip and install attacker-controlled plugin code. Exploitation requires a user to install the malicious plugin and pin it to the ostensibly safe hash. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.179.
Qwik: Crashing any Qwik Server via Resource thenable
Qwik is a performance-focused JavaScript framework. Prior to @builder.io/qwik 1.20.0 and @qwik.dev/core 2.0.0-beta.37, default server-side qwik-json deserialization causes ResourceSerializer.$fill$ to pass resource._resolved to Promise.resolve without first rejecting attacker-controlled thenables. An unauthenticated request can provide a plain object whose then property is a QRL for an unregistered symbol, causing an orphaned asynchronous rejection that terminates Node.js under its default unhandled-rejection policy. A single request can crash a server, and repeated requests can keep replicas unavailable. This issue is fixed in @builder.io/qw
TanStack Router: Unauthenticated reflected XSS in TanStack Start server-function responses
TanStack Router is a client-first, server-capable, fully type-safe router and full-stack framework for the web. From 1.143.12 until 1.169.39 for @tanstack/start-server-core, 1.168.60 for @tanstack/react-start, 1.168.57 for @tanstack/solid-start, and 1.168.56 for @tanstack/vue-start, an unauthenticated attacker can place non-public fields in a server-function request payload so that attacker-controlled middleware state reaches the error path and a response-shaped object is accepted as an HTTP response. A crafted server-function URL can therefore return attacker-controlled HTML from the application's origin; when a visitor opens the URL, the in
Electron: Local race condition in Squirrel.Mac update installation on macOS
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.10, 41.10.5, and 42.0.0-beta.2, Electron applications on macOS that use Squirrel.Mac-based automatic updates are vulnerable to a local race in the privileged ShipIt helper. The helper did not bind the validated update target to one canonical application-bundle path for the full installation, allowing a local attacker to redirect the root-level write so that it overwrites another application's files instead of the application that initiated the update. Applications on other platforms and macOS applications that do not use Squir
Axios: CIDR-form NO_PROXY entries are ignored, causing proxy exclusion bypass for internal IP ranges
Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. From 1.15.0 until 1.20.0, Axios shouldBypassProxy treats the NO_PROXY CIDR form as a textual hostname suffix instead of evaluating the network range. A request targets an address covered by a CIDR entry in NO_PROXY while a proxy is configured. The CIDR bypass rule is not matched, so the request is sent through the configured proxy. For plaintext HTTP, the proxy can observe and modify URLs, headers, and bodies; for HTTPS, it can observe connection metadata and CONNECT requests. This issue is fixed in version 1.20.0.
Quasar Framework: App Vite SSG page output paths can escape the configured distribution directory
Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. From 3.1.0 until 3.3.0, @quasar/app-vite SSG page definitions returned by getSsgPages() could supply dir and filename values that were joined to build.distDir without verifying the final destination. Parent traversal or an existing symlink below the distribution directory could create new HTML files or directories outside the output tree with the build user's permissions. Application configuration and SSG page definitions are trusted by default, so exploitation requires a build process that derives them from external or otherwise less-trusted content; existi
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, read access-control list (ACL) checks use a lexical vault-relative path while containment checks use the resolved path. An in-vault symlink under an allowed glob that resolves into a denied folder can therefore bypass the read ACL and expose files in the denied folder. Exploitation requires an out-of-band-planted symlink and does not permit an escape from the vault root. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by applying ACL checks to the resolved vault-relative path.
obsidian-tc bridge tools expose data outside the read ACL
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, bridge tools do not consistently apply the read access-control list (ACL) to every returned field. The tasks_filter tool exposes group counts derived from denied notes, makemd_query passes unfiltered sibling result fields through, and list_templates exposes template paths and parsed user-function bodies without a read-whitelist check. An authenticated caller can consequently infer or read data from notes outside the caller's read ACL. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by filtering path-attributable fields and applying the read whiteli
Hono 4.12.4 before 4.13.11 Middleware Bypass via serveStatic Double Decoding
Hono from 4.12.4 before 4.13.11 contains a middleware bypass vulnerability in serveStatic that allows unauthenticated attackers to skip prefix middleware by exploiting double path decoding. Attackers can send malformed percent-encoded paths that the router matches in encoded form, reaching static files without authentication checks running.
fastify vulnerable to header validation bypass via case-sensitive propertyNames
fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js. In versions 5.12.2 through 5.12.5, the routine that lowercases header names declared in a route schema does not lowercase the enum or const header names nested inside a propertyNames subschema. As a result, a header allow-list or deny-list written with canonical (non-lowercase) casing never matches the incoming lowercased header, so a restricted header passes validation and reaches the route handler. An attacker can therefore bypass a case-sensitive header validation rule and smuggle a forbidden header past the schema, affecting the integrity of request handling. The issue is fixed
Backstage: Improper access control in backend action invocation
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.17.8, the @backstage/backend-defaults package is affected by improper access control in backend action invocation. An authenticated user could invoke actions that an operator had excluded through action configuration. Existing action permissions and downstream authorization remain enforced. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.8.
obsidian-tc tokens can access arbitrary configured vaults
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, tool dispatch does not compare the caller-controlled input.vault value with the vault bound to the caller, the JSON Web Token (JWT) has no vault claim, and the folder access-control list is shared globally. Any valid token can therefore select another configured vault and read, write, or delete its contents through affected tools. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by binding tokens and request context to a vault and rejecting mismatched input.vault values before scope checks.
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, undefined readPaths and writePaths settings allow all paths, strictReadDefault does not protect direct requests, and the .obsidian, .git, and .trash control directories are excluded only during enumeration. An authenticated caller can directly read sensitive files such as .obsidian/plugins/*/data.json, potentially exposing plugin API keys, Obsidian Sync passwords, and other in-vault data. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by denying the control directories by default and enforcing strictReadDefault on direct request paths.
obsidian-tc Streamable HTTP transport permits cross-origin loopback vault access
obsidian-tc is a governed, agent-ready Model Context Protocol server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 1.3.1, the Streamable HTTP transport does not validate the Host or Origin header or enable DNS-rebinding protection. When the documented loopback configuration uses auth.mode set to none, a malicious web page can send requests to the local MCP endpoint and receive unrestricted vault access through the http-local caller. Version 1.3.1 fixes the vulnerability by enabling host, origin, and DNS-rebinding validation.
DOMPurify before 3.4.16 XSS via IN_PLACE Returned Rawtext Root
DOMPurify before 3.4.16 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass sanitization because IN_PLACE mode returns a force-removed style element whose text content still carries markup. Attackers can supply a style element containing a closing style tag and an img onerror payload, which executes script when the application serializes and re-parses the returned node.
DOMPurify from 3.4.13 before 3.4.16 DOM XSS via IN_PLACE afterSanitize Hooks
DOMPurify from 3.4.13 before 3.4.16 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability because IN_PLACE mode fails to neutralize subtrees detached by afterSanitizeElements or afterSanitizeAttributes hooks. Attackers can supply markup with on* handlers inside a wrapper removed by such hooks, leaving handlers armed on the live DOM to execute script in the victim origin.
TinaCMS admin preview iframe loads an attacker-controlled origin from the URL fragment
Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to tinacms 3.14.0 and @tinacms/app 2.5.14, the /~/* admin preview route in packages/tinacms/src/admin/index.tsx can turn an attacker-controlled hash-router splat into an off-origin iframe URL through packages/@tinacms/app/src/preview.tsx, while packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/preview-origin.ts derives expectedOrigin from that same URL for the GraphQL message channel in packages/@tinacms/app/src/lib/graphql-reducer.ts. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted link to a signed-in editor, cause the admin to frame an attacker origin, and have that frame treated as the trusted preview. The at
