Emmett has an Unhandled CookieError Exception Causing Denial of Service
Emmett is a framework designed to simplify your development process. Prior to 1.3.11, the cookies property in mmett_core.http.wrappers.Request does not handle CookieError exceptions when parsing malformed Cookie headers. This allows unauthenticated attackers to trigger HTTP 500 errors and cause denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.11.
LangSmith Client SDK Affected by Server-Side Request Forgery via Tracing Header Injection
LangSmith Client SDKs provide SDK's for interacting with the LangSmith platform. The LangSmith SDK's distributed tracing feature is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery via malicious HTTP headers. An attacker can inject arbitrary api_url values through the baggage header, causing the SDK to exfiltrate sensitive trace data to attacker-controlled endpoints. When using distributed tracing, the SDK parses incoming HTTP headers via RunTree.from_headers() in Python or RunTree.fromHeaders() in Typescript. The baggage header can contain replica configurations including api_url and api_key fields. Prior to the fix, these attacker-controlled value
Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework. Prior to 2.20.0, FileStore maps cache keys to filenames using Unicode NFKD normalization and ord() substitution without separators, creating key collisions. When FileStore is used as response-cache backend, an unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger cache key collisions via crafted paths, causing one URL to serve cached responses of another (cache poisoning/mixup). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.20.0.
Litestar has an AllowedHosts validation bypass due to unescaped regex metacharacters in configured host patterns
Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework. Prior to 2.20.0, in litestar.middleware.allowed_hosts, allowlist entries are compiled into regex patterns in a way that allows regex metacharacters to retain special meaning (e.g., . matches any character). This enables a bypass where an attacker supplies a host that matches the regex but is not the intended literal hostname. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.20.0.
Litestar has a CORS origin allowlist bypass due to unescaped regex metacharacters in allowed origins
Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework. Prior to 2.20.0, CORSConfig.allowed_origins_regex is constructed using a regex built from configured allowlist values and used with fullmatch() for validation. Because metacharacters are not escaped, a malicious origin can match unexpectedly. The check relies on allowed_origins_regex.fullmatch(origin). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.20.0.
Apache Airflow versions 3.1.0 through 3.1.6 contain an authorization flaw that can allow an authenticated user with custom permissions limited to task access to view task logs without having task log access.
Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Airflow 3.1.7 or later, which resolves this issue.
Apache Airflow: Assigning single DAG permission leaked all DAGs Import Errors
Apache Airflow versions 3.0.0 - 3.1.7, has vulnerability that allows authenticated UI users with permission to one or more specific Dags to view import errors generated by other Dags they did not have access to.
Users are advised to upgrade to 3.1.7 or later, which resolves this issue

Lack of isolation in mcp-run-python leads to MCP server takeover
The Python code being run by 'runPython' or 'runPythonAsync' is not isolated from the rest of the JS code, allowing any Python code to use the Pyodide APIs to modify the JS environment. This may result in an attacker hijacking the MCP server - for malicious purposes including MCP tool shadowing. Note - the "mcp-run-python" project is archived and unlikely to receive a fix.

Overly permissive Deno configuration in mcp-run-python leads to SSRF
The Pydantic-AI MCP Run Python tool configures the Deno sandbox with an overly permissive configuration that allows the underlying Python code to access the localhost interface of the host to perform SSRF attacks. Note - the "mcp-run-python" project is archived and unlikely to receive a fix.
NiceGUI's XSS vulnerability in ui.markdown() allows arbitrary JavaScript execution through unsanitized HTML content
NiceGUI is a Python-based UI framework. The ui.markdown() component uses the markdown2 library to convert markdown content to HTML, which is then rendered via innerHTML. By default, markdown2 allows raw HTML to pass through unchanged. This means that if an application renders user-controlled content through ui.markdown(), an attacker can inject malicious HTML containing JavaScript event handlers. Unlike other NiceGUI components that render HTML (ui.html(), ui.chat_message(), ui.interactive_image()), the ui.markdown() component does not provide or require a sanitize parameter, leaving applications vulnerable to XSS attacks. This vulnerability

NiceGUI's Path Traversal via Unsanitized FileUpload.name Enables Arbitrary File Write
NiceGUI is a Python-based UI framework. Prior to 3.7.0, NiceGUI's FileUpload.name property exposes client-supplied filename metadata without sanitization, enabling path traversal when developers use the pattern UPLOAD_DIR / file.name. Malicious filenames containing ../ sequences allow attackers to write files outside intended directories, with potential for remote code execution through application file overwrites in vulnerable deployment patterns. This design creates a prevalent security footgun affecting applications following common community patterns. Note: Exploitation requires application code incorporating file.name into filesystem pat
Pydantic AI Affected by Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in URL Download Handling
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 0.0.26 to before 1.56.0, aServer-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Pydantic AI's URL download functionality. When applications accept message history from untrusted sources, attackers can include malicious URLs that cause the server to make HTTP requests to internal network resources, potentially accessing internal services or cloud credentials. This vulnerability only affects applications that accept message history from external users. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.56.0.
Semantic Kernel has an Arbitrary File Write via AI Agent Function Calling in .NET SDK
Semantic Kernel is an SDK used to build, orchestrate, and deploy AI agents and multi-agent systems. Prior to 1.71.0, an Arbitrary File Write vulnerability has been identified in Microsoft's Semantic Kernel .NET SDK, specifically within the SessionsPythonPlugin. The problem has been fixed in Microsoft.SemanticKernel.Core version 1.71.0. As a mitigation, users can create a Function Invocation Filter which checks the arguments being passed to any calls to DownloadFileAsync or UploadFileAsync and ensures the provided localFilePath is allow listed.
EPyT-Flow has unsafe JSON deserialization (__type__)
EPyT-Flow is a Python package designed for the easy generation of hydraulic and water quality scenario data of water distribution networks. Prior to 0.16.1, EPyT-Flow’s REST API parses attacker-controlled JSON request bodies using a custom deserializer (my_load_from_json) that supports a type field. When type is present, the deserializer dynamically imports an attacker-specified module/class and instantiates it with attacker-supplied arguments. This allows invoking dangerous classes such as subprocess.Popen, which can lead to OS command execution during JSON parsing. This also affects the loading of JSON files. This vulnerability is fixed in
Pydantic AI affected by Stored XSS via Path Traversal in Web UI CDN URL
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.34.0 to before 1.51.0, a path traversal vulnerability in the Pydantic AI web UI allows an attacker to serve arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the application by crafting a malicious URL. In affected versions, the CDN URL is constructed using a version query parameter from the request URL. This parameter is not validated, allowing path traversal sequences that cause the server to fetch and serve attacker-controlled HTML/JavaScript from an arbitrary source on the same CDN, instead of the legitimate chat UI package. If a victim clicks
A single post-release of dydx-v4-client contained obfuscated multi-stage loader
A PyPI user account compromised by an attacker and was able to upload a malicious version (1.1.5.post1) of the `dydx-v4-client` package. This version contains a highly obfuscated multi-stage loader that ultimately executes malicious code on the host system.
While the final payload is not visible because it is tucked away inside 100 layers of encoding, the structural design—specifically the use of recursive decompression followed by an `exec()` call is a definitive indicator of malicious software, likely a "Crypter" or "Dropper" masquerading as a cryptocurrency-related utility with the intent on connecting to hxxps://dydx[.]priceoracle[.]site
Keylime: keylime: authentication bypass allows unauthorized administrative operations due to missing client-side tls authentication
A flaw was found in Keylime. The Keylime registrar, since version 7.12.0, does not enforce client-side Transport Layer Security (TLS) authentication. This authentication bypass vulnerability allows unauthenticated clients with network access to perform administrative operations, including listing agents, retrieving public Trusted Platform Module (TPM) data, and deleting agents, by connecting without presenting a client certificate.
MCP Salesforce Connector has arbitrary attribute access which leads to disclosure of Salesforce auth token
MCP Salesforce Connector is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation for Salesforce integration. Prior to 0.1.10, arbitrary attribute access leads to disclosure of Salesforce auth token. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.10.
Restore restriction bypass via key disclosure vulnerability (pgAdmin 4)
pgAdmin versions 9.11 are affected by a Restore restriction bypass via key disclosure vulnerability that occurs when running in server mode and performing restores from PLAIN-format dump files. An attacker with access to the pgAdmin web interface can observe an active restore operation, extract the `\restrict` key in real time, and race the restore process by overwriting the restore script with a payload that re-enables meta-commands using `\unrestrict <key>`. This results in reliable command execution on the pgAdmin host during the restore operation.
web2py versions 2.27.1-stable+timestamp.2023.11.16.08.03.57 and prior contain an open redirect vulnerability. If this vulnerability is exploited, the user may be redirected to an arbitrary website when accessing a specially crafted URL. As a result, the user may become a victim of a phishing attack.
